A sturdy bush bean that grows 38-45 cm (15-18”) tall with a 30-36 cm (12-14”) spread. Introduced by Sutton’s in 1909, this heirloom produces 12-17 cm (5-7”) long, thin, green pods that can be used as either a fresh eating bean (65 days) or left to dry on the plant for dried beans (90 days). A heavy producer that shells easily.

Days to Maturity: 50-60 days. Watering: Keep soil evenly moist. Sun/Shade: Full sun. Spacing after Thinning: Thin seedlings to 15-20cm (6-8”) apart.
