Marconi Red is a prolific sweet Italian heirloom prized for its huge, crisp, sweet red 3-lobed fruits.  Peppers grow on a sturdy compact plant that grows upright on a solid bush type habit that can reach as tall as 45-61cm (18-24") in height.  We provide additional support for most of our pepper plants, especially if they are prolific producers like the Red Marconi.  Plant produces heavy yields of 3 lobed peppers that are 25-30cm (10-12") long.  Peppers ripen from green to red and are sweetest when red

Space plants 30-45cm (12-18”) apart. Peppers prefer slightly acidic soil with a pH of 6.0-6.8. Fertilize with a balanced fertilizer once a month during the growing season.
